Digital Pen that records audio as well

Finally, a useful digital pen has arrived. The digital pens developed so far record what the user writes and transfer an image of these notes to a PC. The new pen called the LiveScribe pulse also records audio as you write. Later, you can tap a place i your notes, and the pen plays back what it was hearing when that was written.

As you can imagine, this will be highly useful for journalists, who run around with note pads and voice recorders. Students also stand to benefit. There is probably no better gadget for taking notes in class, except a table PC, which allows you to write on the screen. But tablet PC’s are expesive and more difficult to use than the Pulse, which works with standard Windows PC’s. You can also use it in a more limited fashion without a PC.
