Extended auto warranties.

Once the warranty period of a particular vehicle expires, the vehicle owner will have nothing to protect himself from the expenses due to vehicle repairs. The most peculiar thing is that most of the breakdowns occur after the warranty period. This is due to the fact that, the manufacturer almost knows how long a vehicle would go trouble free and they set the warranty period according to it. In almost all cases their calculations will work. There comes the importance of Extended auto warranties. There are a lot of companies which offer extended auto warranty services. They will provide you with warranty for your automobile after the manufacturers warranty has expired. All your expenses including repair, replacement, labor charges and tax will be paid by such companies. In simple words the extended auto warranty works in the same way as the manufacturer’s warranty. The important factors that have to be considered while signing up for an extended auto warranty contract are cost and duration of warranty period. The entire contract must be simple and straight forward. There must not be any hidden charges or conditions. You must get the money refunded as early as possible. It will be great if the extended warranty service directly pays the expense for repair so that you don’t need to spend anything from your pocket.

I completely agree with this article. Also I’d says try to not go through the dealership for your warranty. There are a lot of other options that cut out the middle-man expenses that the dealership includes.
