Hand Held Signature Analyser

Qmax has launched a hand held V-I signature analyser called QNI Limits that uses the V-I trace technique of learn and compare for detecting subtle changes in nodal impedances. Using this technique the technician requires only a known good board for comparison with a faulty one without having the need pf schematics and functional details of such PCB’s. The learnt traces can be stored for future references.

QNIimits displays the results as V-I trace, showing current against applied voltage in most commonly used graphical view. Aging of devices or damage caused by external forces like lightning, static discharge, short circuit/over-current and even leakags between pins can be detected with QNImits.
